In September we were lucky enough to be at the beautiful Hildene in Manchester, Vermont. Manchester is one of my favorites Vermont towns and one of the best destinations to bring guests. The mountain views everywhere you turn, charming stores and restaurants, the perfect size town to have guests enjoy for the weekend, and so many beautiful locations to host weddings & events.

The weather could not have been more picture perfect this weekend. Such a gift to be able to enjoy the ceremony site as intended – overlooking the Green Mountains. I do believe this is one of the most breathtaking ceremony settings you can find…anywhere. Guests then enjoyed Cocktail Hour on the Terrace and around the Gardens before walking down the lantern-lit pathway to the reception tent. The way guests are able to enjoy different parts of this property is one of my favorite parts of Hildene.

What stood out the most to myself and my team on this day was the kindness, warmth, and love from these families. We were welcomed with open arms immediately, like we had all known each other forever. What became clear so quickly was the special relationship that the bride and her two sisters share – it was so special, they are so good to one another and you can tell the bond they have just by watching them for a couple of minutes. And the Groom’s family too – the way these two families came together so seamlessly, you could forget who was technically on which side. The Mother of the Bride poured her love and attention into every single detail for this day and it really showed. It was a day that was SO full of love and happiness that it was impossible not to feel it radiating from everyone. We felt so lucky to be a part of this day and feel even luckier that they asked us to come back this Summer for their another daughter’s wedding. Is there any greater compliment as a wedding planner…it doesn’t feel like it! We already can’t wait to see everyone again.
