This is another one that I don’t event know where to begin!! This couple was so special. And such a dream to work alongside in creating their dream day. When we started looking for the perfect venue, we looked in so many great locations – throughout the Hudson Valley, Finger Lakes, and Brooklyn (I have the best memories from these days looking at venues!) They decided to take it back to where they met, in Western New York. These two are seriously cool..so the goal was to bring their effortless city style to their wedding day. I am so proud of this one because it was a true reflection of who they are as a couple and showcased their personal style so beautifully.

We started the day Downtown, with a ceremony at the most beautiful cathedral. The downside? The length of the aisle the bride had to walk 🙂 The upside? One of the most beautiful settings for the I Do’s.

Following the Ceremony, we were off to the Buffalo History Museum. We utilized three different spaces for the Reception. Guests walked through the Garden path to the back of the building to enjoy cocktail hour on the steps and portico. We moved everyone inside for a dinner which took up both floors of the Museum. After dinner, it was time to head back outside to the dancing tent – lit perfectly with cafe lights on the clear-top tent, guests danced the night away to Vitamin D. The weather was absolutely perfect for September and guests really enjoyed being outside all night long. Some of the added touches that made the night so special…pizza and Buffalo wings (or as they say in Buffalo, just wings) delivered during dancing, cigars on the portico, and to-go boxes with doughnut holes from a local shop for the bus ride back to Downtown.

K+A… I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with this day. The entire day was a dream and watching you enjoy it with your family and friends was so special. It was such a pleasure working with you both and I will always remember the entire planning process and wedding day so fondly.

To this vendor team – THANK YOU! You were all the absolute best to work with and welcomed me to your local market with open arms. Bridget not only took incredible photos but was my right-hand since I was short staffed that weekend (staffing..a theme of 2021). The catering and rental team went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. Everyone was so kind and helpful and worked incredibly hard to make this day happen.
