This blog post is SO OVERDUE!! I’m really excited to finally share Danielle + Cory’s June Wedding at Mad River Barn. The venue is nestled in the mountains in Waitsfield, Vermont..if you know me, you know how much I love Vermont so I was thrilled to be there. Danielle and Cory were the most lovely clients to work with – easy going, thoughtful, generous, and so much fun to be around. We laughed every single time we talked during the planning process and you’ll certainly see that joy and lightheartedness in their gallery of images!

The weather could not have been more perfect which was a really big deal because it rained basically every single day the month prior. Our final walk-through in May was about 40 degrees and pouring rain…so to see blue skies against the lush green mountains was a dream. The venue is a really special place. They have a great staff that goes above and beyond the day-of and the food was seriously delicious. With only one wedding per weekend at the venue, it allows clients to utilize the entire, beautiful property.

After a meaningful ceremony, officiated by the Groom’s Uncle, the focus was on great food and great music. After dinner, there was a Ben & Jerry’s dessert cart and s’mores at the fire pit..what’s more perfect for Vermont in the Summertime?! The after party was right at the Inn’s pub and was a true extension of the reception – another perk of the venue!
